Ladies Fitness Boot Camp's
Hey Tracey,
I just wanted to show you a side by side of me from 7 weeks ago when I started LFBC and a picture from last night.
Sorry I wasn't there, but I'm still feeling sick...don't think I had the flu, but my gastrointestinal area is feeling icky...hopefully I'll make it tonight!
Anyway, I cried last night when I put these side by side...it's amazing what only 7 weeks has done. You're a miracle to me...and I am so motivated to work even harder to see more results like this. I didn't even know if my efforts were working...but a picture says a thousand words!

The Phase 3-Phase diet plan is great! I have been on the plan for 6 weeks now and I can totally feel the difference. The plan is so easy to follow and takes the guesswork out of what I should be eating daily. It provides you with just the right amount of food to keep you energized through-out the day and I can honestly say that I am never hungry. All I do is design my meals around the list of foods provided in the plan, and there is such a variety of options, that I am never bored. The best part of being on the 3-Phase diet plan for the last few weeks is that when I put on my black suit in preparation for my interview last Friday, my pants slide on with ease. I cannot tell you how thrilled I was because I really wanted to wear that suit and be comfortable in it. I believe I was able to achieve this by sticking to the plan.
Hey by the way, in spite of a pulled hamstring I was able to run the Intel 5K race in 44:11, which is a 14:14 minute mile, a little slower then I wanted but I certainly reached my goal of finishing between 45-50 minutes. In addition, just a side note, I ran the entire way, I did not stop to walk at all even though my body was telling me to quit, two things kept me going. 1) I was determined not to let my co-worker lap me since he did the 10K run and I am happy to report I was able to hold him off. 2) I kept hearing your voice saying anyone can do anything for 20 sec. I kept saying that to myself for the rest of the 500 meters. There is no doubt in my mind that I would not have been able to do a 5K unless I had participated in boot camp. I was not winded at all, it was just that my legs felt so heavy and I was mindful of my hamstring and tried to be careful. I was so happy that I was able to finish the race that I started crying. My sister asked me are those tears of joy or are you hurting. I told her definitely tears of joy.
Thank you, Margie
Well I finished my adventure with LFBC and I have to brag at my positive mental attitude; my lady like figure and my fantastic new found energy. I eat healthy and still remain motivated and wow what a tight little butt I have now! My stomach is flat and while I still work on my arms and a few things that I want to keep toned. I have to say that LFBC is the most well spent money I have ever spent on m y self. Like most women we will do for our family first before we spend a cent on ourselves. Not to mention finding the time to get to Boot Camp rather than taking a child her or there or cleaning or having a job to get too. I not only lost some heavy duty inches of unwanted fat but I lost my fear of doing something nice for me! I got to know other women who had similar fears and struggles. We all bonded and joined in the Boot Camp cheers and while we laughed and pushed our bodies and giggled at the way we would be awkward and clumsy...then each week became stronger and more agile! I have to admit I will never regret spending time on me ever again! I can offer my family a confident positive happy woman! I have more energy and charisma and joy! How do we put a price on that? I say way to go to all of you who will worry at first about the things you might have spent your money on... then I will say don;t fret over it! You will be healthier and happier and save money on junk foods and doctors and meds! Plus you will be able to get a whole new wardrobe and in much smaller sizes! Love to all my Boot Camp sister! Brenda Laney in Wickenburg! P.S. I lost a total of 76 inches and 18 pounds! I am wearing a size 4 and I was in a size 12. You can do it too! P.R.I.D.E.

7/9/08 I just want to thank you for providing me with the best experience of my life for exercising and pushing myself to another level! Judy
6/28/08 I am in Kim's group. It's amazing what 7 weeks of this training can do!!!!
I had done an 8 week training with a trainer at LA Fitness (3 times a week) but did not see any results!!!
I can do 2 laps without panting or stopping now in 112F days!!! The first week, I couldn't finish one. The number of repetitions of all the exercises that I am able to do now has increased by at least 100%. I couldn't do more than 5 push ups, now I can do 20 many times during the hour. The most amazing part is seeing the fat melt away around the belly which is the hardest to loose.
I like having different exercises each time, it doesn't get boring and the whole body gets a workout.
Thank you for a wonderful program!
Jihane
6/26/08 This is the end of my second week at Boot camp and I'm excited and terrified at the same time. I'm excited about my lifestyle change and I'm terrified of my aching muscles at the end of each boot camp class. However, nothing compares to day 1. This is the best decision I've made since moving to AZ. I look forward to attending boot camp everyday.
Lynda
6/26/08 Women give time to everyone but themselves. Every time I have gained weight it has been because I have made everything else a priority and not left any time for me. I joined this camp to recommit to myself and my fitness. Every year it gets harder and harder to lose weight and easier to gain it, simply reducing my calories doesn't work for me anymore. Exercise is fun once you commit to it and its even slightly addicting. I'm ready to go!

5/27/08 This is my second boot camp and I love it. Leslie and Sherri are fun trainers and they really get us moving around the park. I joined to loose some inches before my cousins wedding and I did it! I’m in a bride’s maid dress and look pretty goodJ The boot camp is FF (fun and fresh). I can never believe how fast that first hour goes. It’s great. Maybe I should say, “The boot camp is FFF (fun, fresh, and fast).” Thank you Leslie and Sherri for bringing the boot camp to Wickenburg. 5/29/08 I absolutely love the LFBC. It took me 2 years to get up enough courage to sign-up for this bootcamp, because I was always afraid that I would be able to keep up or do the exercises. However, it is amazing what your body can do when you make up your mind to just go for it and do the best that you can. This is my 2nd month in bootcamp, and everyday I continued to marvel at the progress I have made over the last month and half. Tracey is an awesome trainer and with every session, she seems to come up with new and inventive ways to kick our butts, and challenge us. I have noticed that my overall strength and endurance has improved greatly since starting bootcamp and as I continue to see my progress, and watch the other ladies who are participating in the bootcamp give it there all, it just motives me to continue pushing through each challenging session.
My goal with this bootcamp was to make it around the track without stopping, and with the help and encouragement of Tracey and the other ladies, I was finally able to reach that goal this week. It is an awesome feeling knowing that you are able to conquer anything if you just make up your mind to just go for it! Margie
6/14/08 I just wanted to say Thank you for being a great inspiration through out my three months at Boot Camp. I defiantly saw an improvement not only in my weight lose, but also in my endurance and in my out look. I really enjoyed meeting new friend, they were a great encouragement to me (please tell them I said so, and I miss them). My vacation was amazing, and Boot Camp gave me a confidence that I would not have had with out it. Windy Nash
5/29/08 In the past three years I have gotten absolutely no exercise so I was very nervous about joining the boot camp. For the first week I threw up after every camp and every cell in my body hurt. By the second week I noticed that I was able to do make it through more of the exercises. Now as the third week is ending I definitely notice an increase in my strength and conditioning. Even though I am NOT a morning person I am completely motivated to get up at before dawn for boot camp because I can absolutely see the difference it's made for me. Lola N.
5/29/08 Dear LFBC'ers
My first month of LFBC ended on a high note. Literally! 25 stories high!
Friday we arrived at our nice serene park only to be taken on a field trip! 25 flights of stairs in an ominous downtown Phoenix high rise. Not once up and down ... but twice! Oh, and did I mention the incline sprints prior to the stairs - or the push ups every couple of flights!
That was Friday it’s now Sunday and my calves are on FIRE! Getting out of bed not only hurts, but it’s laughable if you were seeing the way I am walking ... or trying to walk.
One month down - a lifetime of fitness to go. We’re continuing our group dialogue on healthy eating, discussing “off-day” personal fitness programs and encouraging each other to lose weight and inches.
Thank to all the women in my group who are AWESOME for their encouragement and support. Tracey and Lorrie rock ... and let’s keep it going.
Tell your friends about LFBC. If I can do it ... anyone can!

I used to work out at least 5 days a week but when my family decided to move to a different house so many other things managed to come first. My sister and I decided we need a kick in the butt to get motivated again. We signed up for the 3 days a week and love it. Tracey has a fun and different work out each session. Tracey knows just how to push us to do the best we can and beyond. My sister and I congratulate each other each night we make it through a class. Thank you Debi

My friend told me about boot camp, and I thought it would be fun and a good way to “jump start” my training for hiking the Grand Canyon rim-2-rim. My regular workouts at the gym seemed boring and it was getting harder and harder to stay motivated to work out. My trial session was the last session for the months work out and it was so inspiring to hear the other women’s stories and their success and to watch them get their dog tags… plus the workout was INTENSE and FUN!!! The best part of the boot camp is knowing that there is no comparison between me and other ladies there AND that my trainers can help me push my limits in an encouraging and supportive way! My trainers are Sherrie and Leslie. Valentina Samsill

Where do I even begin… This is my second class with Tracy and I don’t see myself stopping anytime soon. While I have not lost any weight which was a bit depressing at first, I did lose 5 inches over all the first 4 week class. But I know it’s working. My body is transforming and its awesome. Many people have noticed the changes, the toning and even the strength that I have gain over the last 6 weeks. It is awesome and I thank God for giving me Tracy to keep me motivated and kick butt in every class. Rebekah Stilwell President Cable by Design Services, Inc
5/27/08 Boot camp has been a great experience. I have accomplished things I didn’t think I was capable of. I have to admit I went into this thinking I wouldn’t make it past the first week and now I’m in my second month and I LOVE IT!! It’s made me feel so much better about myself its unbelievable. Tracey is a great motivator and she has encouraged me to push myself further than I thought possible. Lesette G
5/2/08 Thank you for a great experience, I have seen certain things in my life differently and it has made a great improvement. I even got the courage to chop off my hair, believe it or not (short, short, kinda like yours). Well it was great being surrounded by fabulous women and I'm glad I made new friends. Tell the girls I said hi and it was AWESOME!!!! Hope to work out with you in the near future. Again thank you, Alicia Banks
5/29/08 Before joining ladies fitness boot camp I looked into the program. I read about it, then read the testimonials and finally talked to you. I was sold, and still am. I am more motivated and feel better than I have in 2 years. Thank you ! Joy

Testimonial:
I have struggled with my weight most of my adult life. I have never really been able to find some type of exercise program that worked for me and that I stuck with. I would either get bored with the same video taped exercises or come up with an excuse not to go to the gym. This past year has been very tough for me, and after the loss of my mom in May 2007, I took the “who cares” attitude with my eating and over-all appearance. Things just didn’t seem to matter and I used food to comfort me during my intense grieving process. Around Christmas one of my very good friends suggested my trying boot camp as a way to get out of the house and do something active. She thought it might lift my spirits. She herself had completed a boot camp that month and loved it.
I began to think about it and frequently I would her my mother’s advice stream through my mind saying, “the only person who will take care of you is you.” I began to check out websites online and found Tracey’s boot camp here close to home. I thought, this is a lot of money, but it is for only 4 weeks. I can surely do anything for 4 weeks, besides, if I don’t like it, it will be over in such a short amount of time. So I signed up for the January class. As the start date grew closer I found myself getting more and more excited to begin. The first day of class arrived. Tracey worked us hard. I came hobbling into my home that first night and thought to myself, “What in the world am I trying to do?” But my husband just kept encouraging me. My friend said the pain and soreness is just temporary, stick with it, you can do it. So I continued on and it got better. Soon my soreness went away and I felt great. I felt like I had more energy than before and I was proud of me. I did it! I completed the first 4 weeks. I know that my mom would be proud of me too. I have since lost 5 pounds and several inches all over my body. It is incredible. Thanks to Tracey and her willingness to keep pushing me, I feel it has made a huge difference and impact on my outlook on life. I want to be healthy. I want to be an example to my girls. I know in time my heart will heal over the loss I incurred, but I know food is not the answer.
I would highly recommend this program to anyone. If I can do it, anyone can do it. I enjoyed myself so much that I signed up for the next 12 weeks. WWWOOOOHHHHHOOOOO!!!! Thanks Tracey for your constant encouragement and pushing me. You have no idea how much it has helped me inside and out. See you again soon!

I have never been an early bird or one to over exert myself when it comes to exercise.
When I saw the boot camp advertised I figured I would try to kill two birds with one stone.
I am so glad I did so! This experience has been a very positive one for me. It has shown me that I am capable of pushing myself and that the only limitations that I have in life are the ones that I establish for myself. I really appreciate Tracy's postive attitude and how she not only focuses on our physical health but also the importance of maintaining our mental health.
I look forward to returning (when it is not so cold) and continuing to work on my diet and exercise habits.
Thank you for everything

With every passing week of boot camp, I not only feel my muscles growing, but I also see my confidence and empowerment. My new found stamina and abilities have spilled over into my every day life. I now face the world with more energy and vigor. Because of exercise I have less stress and I don't sweat the small stuff. I am so very happy that I doing this for myself.

I talked my mother in law and sister in law into going to boot camp with me. At the time I didn't want to go by myself. I felt it would be too easy to quit and too hard to complete on my own. I would go by myself now. I certainly have more confidence about exercising now. Tracey made me feel welcome and made exercising fun. The first two days of boot camp were difficult but I made it through. The group had an atmosphere of cooperation. I was always left with a sense of accomplishment after each class. I hadn't exercised in about ten years. I feel so much better and have more energy. I have lost around four inches. I have loved coming to boot camp and it has definitely started me on the right track. Thanks so much for a great month. I hope to see you in the future. Kati Brocker
When my sister-in-law first approached me with the idea of attending boot camp, I jumped in whole-heartedly. After the first day and certainly by the end of the first week I seriously doubted my leap. But, as the weeks went by I even began to look forward to my book camp days. I feel more confident about myself and am definitely glad I decided to sign up.

Boot Camp at 60 years old???I was afraid I couldn't succeed. Tracey taught me to focus on myself, to build on my abilities. All ages need to be stronger. Tracey can show you how! And, yes, I graduated!

It made me walk with my head up tall. I feel like I can do anthing I put my mind to. After the classes it made me want to treat my body with respect, by not smoking and eating right. I felt so strong pyscically these past four weeks. I would honestly do the boot camp classes five days a week. Its my feel good escape, it was something good I was doing for my self. I loved the classes. Thanks Tracey for your hard work. Janelle
I took this class hoping that it would help me succeed in my weightloss, which I have not ever been successful at. I have never really liked exercising but thought I would at least give this a try. I absolutely love it, even if I don't look like it sometimes. The number one thing for me is that I never know what we are going to be doing and that is a good thing. I think if I knew a head of time it might be easier to say "I'm not going tonight because I hate those burpees" for example. In my first 4 weeks, I have lost a total of 16" and am feeling great. After only 2 weeks, I started noticing, I had more stamina. The first week, I couldn't even run around the parking lot, I would only make it about a 1/4 of the way around before I had to start walking. Now in my 4th week, I can run around the parking lot completely. It is really unbelievable what I have accomplished in this first 4 weeks and I can't wait for the next. Shelly Ramsey
